ESCANABA, MI-- The Escanaba Department of Public Safety is investigating a Friday house fire on the 300 block of South 19th Street.
Officers arrived at the house around 7 p.m. and saw heavy smoke coming from the basement and flames along the main level.
All occupants of the home were able to get out. One person sustained minor injuries.
Firefighters were on the scene for about three hours.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
