EAST LANSING, MI (MPRN)-- Michigan State University is headed to the Final Four after beating top-seeded Duke on Sunday.
Students poured into the streets to celebrate.
East Lansing police estimated 700 people celebrated along Cedar Street right after the game.
Senior Dhanush Gummalla strutted around in a red Santa Suit.
“Crazy, just madness, just madness – we knew Tom Izzo would put up a crazy play, we knew Cassius,” he said.
Junior Tylor Collier watched with her family as MSU’s Cassius Winston kept Duke from scoring in the final seconds.
“I was on Facetime with my whole family. It was really exciting – we really pulled it out,” she said.
Spartans are now getting ready for Texas Tech on Saturday.
