Northern Airways adds UP-Lansing shuttle

IRON MOUNTAIN - ‘Northern Airways’ is introducing a same-day air shuttle between the U.P. and Lansing.

Chad Kubick, president of Kubick Aviation Services, parent company of Northern Airways, says the “vision for the air shuttle is to get customers to Lansing for a day of business, and then get them home – the same day.”

The shuttle is scheduled to begin service in September with one round-trip flight every other week. Flights depart from Iron Mountain’s Ford Airport with a morning stop at Marquette’s Sawyer International Airport.  The flight provides customers 6+ hours to conduct their business in Lansing. The cost is $900 per seat.
