Police warn of Yellow Pages scam

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI--   Chocolay Township Police are warning residents about a possible scam making the rounds.  

Officers say a Marquette business received a call from a man who identified himself as a Yellow Pages Online employee.  The subject said because the business was listed online there was an outstanding bill of $1,500.  When the owner asked further questions the subject hung up.

Police are reminding consumers that Yellow Pages offers business listings online for free.
