Same suspect may be involved in Pembine bank robbery, Escanaba attempted robbery

ESCANABA, MI--   Investigators from the Escanaba Public Safety Department, Marinette County Sheriff 

Department, Delta County Sheriff Department, Michigan State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation held a joint meeting on Tuesday, July 09, 2019 to discuss the similarities of the armed robbery in Pembine Wisconsin and the attempted armed robbery of the Northern United Federal Credit Union in Escanaba.  

Investigators have determined the two incidents are related by comparisons of the vehicle used and the suspect’s profile.  Investigators compared the apparent similarities, along with additional information not yet publicly available, to draw this conclusion.

A joint effort with information sharing has been coordinated in an attempt to identify the suspect, and/or the suspect vehicle, utilizing the combined resources of all agencies involved.

The Marinette County Sheriff's Office has released a video of the suspect arriving at the Pembine bank and leaving the scene:

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
