Stabenow, Peters Introduce Legislation to Reinstate Net Neutrality

Undated - Michigan U-S Senators have introduced legislation to overturn net neutrality rules. Democratic Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters’ bill - “Save The Internet Act” – would ensure all Americans have access to a free and open internet. Companion legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives. Stabenow says access to the internet is not a luxury but a necessity.

The Senate passed legislation reinstating net neutrality in the last Congress, but it was not taken up by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. 

Companion legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives.
