MUNISING, MI— The Munising Falls Visitor Center at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will be reopening on Monday, after being closed for building renovations.
Work on the building addressed structural concerns and deteriorating materials, as well as updating the layout of the building to promote ease of use and accessibility.
Service windows on the side of the building will allow officials to keep up with growing visitor numbers. Visitors will be able to get park information and buy park passes at the visitor center. Interpretive exhibits will be added throughout the summer.
