Great trails, weather for Noquemanon

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette County has been invaded by skiers of all sizes, ages, and abilities, and they’re looking forward to this weekend’s Noquemanon Ski Marathon.

The annual Torch Light Trek was held at the Suicide Bowl Ski Area Wednesday night to kick off a number of races, including the Junior Noque Friday, the 50K Classic and Freestyle Saturday, and the 10KAnimoosh Skijor and 20K Snow Bike races Sunday.

Skiers will enjoy good weather throughout the weekend, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and just a chance of snow on Friday.  Officials say the entire trail has been groomed and is ready to accommodate the hundreds of racers set to ski it.
