MARQUETTE, MI-- An Ishpeming man has been arrested in connection with a meth lab found at a residence earlier this month.
Joshua Vorase, 33, is charged with one count of operating/maintaining a meth lab after Ishpeming Police found several HCL generators and one-pot cooks in a garage on the 700 block of East Ridge Street May 6th.
Vorase was arrested last Friday and remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail. A preliminary exam is set for May 31st in Ishpeming District Court. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
The homeowner in the case is not considered to be a suspect and cooperated with the investigation.
Ishpeming Police were assisted by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and the Ishpeming Fire Department.
