Marquette resident gets prison time for buying meth component

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Marquette woman has been sentenced on a meth-related charge.  

LeeannaStreeter, 35, was given between three and 20 years in prison with credit for 143 days already served. 

Streeter and another suspect were arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in July after they were seen buying pseudoephedrine in Marquette.  Streeter was charged with conspiracy to deliver/manufacture meth.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
