Copper Harbor & Fort Wilkins Historic State Park Photo Walk
Copper Harbor & Fort Wilkins Historic State Park Photo Walk
The ScottKelby Worldwide Photo Walk is happening in thousands of cities all around the world! Don’t miss your chance to join us for a picturesque adventure, photographing and exploring Fort Wilkins, a restored 1844 army military outpost, which includes a quarter-mile of rocky Lake Superior shoreline with views of the Copper Harbor lighthouse, hiking trails along Lake Fanny Hooe, and a quarter-mile of sandy beach on Lake Manganese. This location offers many photo opportunities including historic buildings, autumn northwoods and Lake Superior landscapes, mountain biking, natural resources, and wildlife.
Following the 2-hour photo walk, participants are welcome to gather at a local restaurant (still TBD) to discuss the day, share pictures and stories, and to network/socialize with other photographers.
Register in advance at the photo walk website. All photography skill levels and camera types are welcome.
