The League of Women Voters of Marquette County hosts its Annual Meeting and social hour Wednesday, June 4th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. upstairs at the Ore Dock Brewing Co., 114 W. Spring St. in Marquette. The business meeting and announcement of award recipients begin at 6:45 p.m.
All community members are welcome to attend. Meet current LWV members and learn more about League activities and volunteer opportunities. Enjoy refreshments, music, & prizes.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to anyone 16 years of age and older who subscribes to the purposes and policies of the League.
