The Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library sponsor a sale of used books on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (November 30 and December 1 and 2). The sale begins on Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Leverton Community Room on the lower level of the library. At that time and on Friday hardcovers will sell for two dollars and paperbacks for one dollar. On Saturday from 10 until noon, all books will be half price, while in the afternoon there will be a bag sale, with books selling for five dollars a bag.

Also on sale will be the 2024 historic Ishpeming calendar, ICPL T-Shirts and tote bags, the latest FOL recipe book, and notecards and ornaments featuring local landmarks.
