This fall, Citizens for a Safe & Clean Lake Superior is hosting a mini-series of community lectures this fall to provide the community with opportunities to learn about wetlands. The first presentation is October 17, and will feature Kim Ferraro, an environmental attorney and professor at Indiana University's School of Law, for a discussion about federal wetland regulations and how recent Supreme Court decisions in particular have shaped the way wetlands are protected in our nation. This free, all-ages event is also co-hosted by Ore Dock Brewing Company and NMU's Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences.
