Under-Appreciated Pollinators
Under-Appreciated Pollinators
Adults and teens can join us at 5:30 PM to make a pressed flower lantern followed by a webinar at 6:30 PM with gardening expert Melinda Myers on under-appreciated pollinators. The plight of honeybees and monarchs fills the news, but many more pollinators are often overlooked yet critical to the production of food, fiber, and other raw materials we depend upon. Native bees, moths, bats, beetles, flies, and birds are also important. The webinar will look at a variety of pollinators, their role in the environment, and their impact on people. Plus, you will discuss ways to co-exist with these often overlooked and sometimes feared or dreaded animals. No registration required! This program/webinar is part three of a three-part series presented by WE Energies.
