The Superior Watershed Partnership (SWP) and the Great Lakes Climate Corps (GLCC) are pleased to announce a new household electronic waste recycling collection site in Marquette that is open to the public every Wednesday from 12 PM - 4 PM, beginning April 2nd.

The public is encouraged to bring household electronic waste, including but not limited to: televisions, phones, computers, printers, etc. to SWP's Climate Office to be recycled. The SWP drop-off site is located in the Lakeshore Park complex across from McCarty’s Cove at 519 N. Lakeshore Boulevard.
Suggested donation: $5 per drop-off.

The League of Women Voters of Marquette County will hold its next general membership meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 6:45 p.m. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Heritage Room on the 2nd floor of the Peter White Public Library, 217 N. Front St., Marquette.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The CDC has recommended a Spring dose of COVID- 19 vaccine for those individuals 65 and older. The Marquette County Health Department offers vaccine appointments Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please call to schedule an appointment and to check eligibility.
