Police seize heroin in Menominee

MENOMINEE, MI--  The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team conducted two drug busts in Menominee this week.

On Tuesday UPSET arrested a city resident on heroin charges.  Additional charges are being sought on a female.

In another incident detectives arrested three Illinois residents on several heroin-related charges.  A search warrant was executed on a hotel room and a large quantity of the drug was seized.  Detectives also found cash and evidence of heroin distribution.

The Menominee County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing both incidents.  UPSET was assisted by Menominee City Police and the Marinette Drug Team.
