Lansing man charged in Trout Lake killing

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI-- Police continue to investigate a homicide in Chippewa County.

Saturday around 4 p.m. Michigan State Police from the Sault Ste. Marie Post responded to a rental cabin in Trout Lake on a report of a shooting. They found Kevin Belonga, 51, of St. Ignace dead at the scene.

Troopers took one subject into custody.

Aaron Roberts, 34, of Lansing was arraigned Monday in 91^st District Court on one count of homicide and one count of felony firearms. His bond is set at $100,000.

A probable cause hearing is set for August 23.
