MARINETTE, WI— Marinette County’s motorized recreational trail system is shut down until further notice.
The Marinette County Forestry Department says the closure is needed to protect the trail bed from damage due to recent warm temperatures. They will re-open once conditions support motorized traffic without damage to the trail.
