Man missing from Wakefield area

WAKEFIELD, MI— The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing Wakefield man.

Deputies say Steven Wasielewski, 30, has been missing since Saturday, June 10^th. He is considered to have an altered mental status and may be in possession of a .38 caliber handgun.

Wasielewski is described as a 6’2”, 200-pound white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a beard and two tattoos: a peace sign on his left shoulder and the word “king” on his left hand.

Wasielewski is driving a maroon 1997 Honda CR-V. The license plate number is 8NJW60.

Anyone with information regarding Wasielewski’s whereabouts is asked to call the Gogebic County Sheriff's Office at 906-667-0203 or 911.
