MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette Police Department, Marquette County Sheriff's Office, area residents, and emergency services organizations continue to search for missing Northern Michigan University student Trenton Massey, 21.
City Police say he was last seen on video Sunday at 3:25 a.m. in the area of East Baraga Avenue and the Founder's Landing boardwalk. He appears to be disoriented and is having trouble walking. He was seen wearing an olive green and black jacket and dark pants.
Police have released a map of the most relevant search area, given the known circumstances. Officers are asking residents and businesses in the red-shaded area to check camera footage from 3:25 a.m. on 2/22/26 and onward for any signs of Massey. MPD is also asking residents to check their property, including vehicles and outbuildings, for signs of him.
The area in question is south of Washington Street from McClellan Avenue to the Lake Superior shoreline and south to Furnace Street.
