Prepare to blast off into a galaxy of nerd culture with the Return of the BAY-CON event at Bay College.

The third edition of the Upper Peninsula version of "Comic-Con" takes over the Joseph Heirman University Center at Escanaba's Bay College on Saturday, April 20th. The Return of the BAY-CON event features a vendor space, a vintage video gaming area, a cosplay contest, and more. Bay College student organizations sponsor the day-long event, fundraising for its student organizations and athletic teams that staff it. The event is free with a suggested donation.

Kurt Hauswirth spoke with founder Dave Laur by phone:

Return of the BAY-CON takes place Saturday, April 20th, 2024 starting at 10 am Eastern in the Joseph Heirman University Center (JHUC ). Visit the Bay College website or the Facebook event for more information.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
