Injuries reported in Gladstone crash

GLADSTONE, MI--   Three people were injured when their vehicle drove into the path of another vehicle in Gladstone Thursday morning.

Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post were dispatched around 7:15 a.m. to the intersection of Rivers 22nd Road and 0.85 Road. Investigation indicated two Gladstone teens were eastbound on Rivers 22nd Road when the driver tried to turn left onto 0.85 Road. The vehicle drove into the path of another vehicle driven by a Perkins man that was southbound on 0.85 Road.

The Gladstone driver was airlifted to UPHS-Marquette by Valley Med Flight. The other teen and the driver from Perkins were taken via ambulance to UPHS-Marquette.

Neither alcohol nor speed are believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
