ESCANABA, MI-- The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested five people in Escanaba Monday, following a six-month drug investigation.
Detectives say the investigation spanned Delta, Menominee and Dickinson counties, as well as areas in Wisconsin. Numerous felony warrants for drug distribution were issued for Travis Anderson, 34, last month.
On Monday UPSET identified a house believed to be sheltering Anderson. Detectives executed a search warrant and found meth, prescription drugs, scales, electronic devices and money.
The following people were arrested:
- Travis Anderson, 34, Escanaba—Conspiracy to deliver meth, delivery of meth, delivery of a controlled substance (Schedule 4)
- Michael Bumstead, 19, Gladstone—Possession of meth, bond violation
- April Harrison, 27, Escanaba—Possession of meth, maintaining a drug house, contraband into correctional facility
- Mackenzie Dedominicis, 17, Rapid River—Possession of meth
- Joshua Tellefsen, 36, Escanaba—Bond violation
All were lodged in the Delta County Jail.
Additional suspects have been identified and other arrests are pending.
