  • Emily Jones locally hosts Morning Edition and reports on all things coastal Georgia for GPB’s Savannah bureau. Before coming to GPB, she studied broadcast journalism at the Columbia Journalism School and urban history at Brown University. She’s worked for the Wall Street Journal Radio Network, WHYY in Philadelphia, and WBRU and RIPR in Providence. In addition to anchoring and reporting news at WBRU, Emily hosted the alt-rock station’s Retro Lunch as her DJ alter-ego, Domino.

  • Barbara J. King is a contributor to the NPR blog 13.7: Cosmos & Culture. She is a Chancellor Professor of Anthropology at the College of William and Mary. With a long-standing research interest in primate behavior and human evolution, King has studied baboon foraging in Kenya and gorilla and bonobo communication at captive facilities in the United States.
  • Daniel Truckey is the Sunday evening producer for Public Radio 90, and the programmer for the show, “Just Folks.” Dan is a lifelong lover of folk music, both American and International, and for several years was the director of the International Concert Series (also known as Northern Nights) on the campus of Northern Michigan University. Dan is also a musician, playing in the Celtic music trio, The Knockabouts, and is the coordinator of the Marquette Rockestra. He is an accomplished songwriter who has released several albums as a solo artist.
  • Anna Tousley is a sophomore in the Honors program majoring in Political Science and double minoring in History and Gender/Sexuality Studies. She is from downstate; Lake Orion, Michigan. Anna enjoys hiking the Marquette waterfalls, baking, listening to music, and reading.
  • Liam Ulland-Joy is a sophomore at NMU majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Liam is from Marquette and has one published novel: Forsaken City (liamullandjoy.com). He is an active member of Public Eye News and the Quiz Bowl team.
