A Marquette-based surf rock trio releases their debut self-titled album

The Local Spin is part of the new music discovery program The Shuffle with Kurt Hauswirth, where we feature local musicians on Public Radio 90!

In this edition of The Local Spin, we speak with Dylan Trost, guitarist with the Marquette-based surf rock band Ramble Tamble. Their self-titled release commits the early recordings of their live surf sound to tape and is the first in a series of planned releases.

Dylan Trost is a part of the Marquette music scene, also found in The God Eaters, Stan Berry, and as a solo performer. He now plays with Ramble Tamble, their goal being to have fun and share that with their audience. The group rehearses in their clubhouse studio and jam space (called The Tune Shack), and along with producer Pete Gummerson, they recorded their live sound and created their debut album.

The debut album from Ramble Tamble releases on March 24, 2022. Find Ramble Tamble on Bandcamp, Facebook, and Instagram.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
