An interview with market manager Brian Shier

A summertime staple in Downtown Marquette returns in May, just in time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market re-opens with its Saturday morning market on May 18th, 2024 at the Marquette Commons. The mission of the market is "to support local farmers, growers, and artisans; to make available wholesome, quality food and goods, and to provide a festive marketplace that benefits the Marquette Community."

The Saturday Morning Farmers Market runs from May 18th through October 26th from 9 am to 1 pm. The Wednesday Night Market also returns, starting on June 19th and running through August 28th, taking place Wednesdays from 5 to 8 pm on Washington Street. Holiday Market details will be announced later in the summer.
